I'm excited to introduce my newest series, Ten Little Tipis.

Before beginning a large scale painting, I prefer to warm up with small painted sketches of what my goal is for the painting. Over the years, I’ve noticed that many of these smaller paintings have a powerful life of their own. There is often a lot more honesty and truth in the process of the sketch. I was inspired by this—so I carefully took them to a finish.
 

The paintings in Ten Little Tipis will be released one-by-one each week. They may not all be tipis and may be more than ten. But they will all be between 8 x 8 and 20 x 20 inches
